  1. What a wonderful and great job all of you are doing. I'm so impressed by all the talks the kids have given. Have a great final week of changing lives in Costa Rica and making a difference in your own lives.

  2. Wow! It sounds like you are really doing a lot of hard work! AND eating lots of rice and beans!

I read a book many years ago by Harry Emerson Fosdick. One chapter was titled "How does one start to be a Christian?" He said some of us inherit our faith as a hand-me-down from our families. We may question it, doubt it, or even throw it overboard! Others believe you must have a mystical experience to be a Christian. This may not be lasting. Harry believed that to be a follower of Jesus was to DO something. Jesus said,

"Whoever does the will of God is my brother, and sister, and mother."

"Every one who hears these words of mine and DOES them will be like a wise man"

"Even more blessed are those who hear the word of God and put it into practice."

Today you are all DOING and doing many wonderful things with joy! We at home are so proud of you and love you all!

    PS
    Stephen,
Dad and I are so proud you made it through your sermon. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall! Maybe there is a video? I will try to post some photos if I can figure out how to do it!
    Love and miss you!
